Usually you can find this very easy, as the people you will be arguing with are usually the same audience as you are. A good example is environmental awareness.I find that if you want to do argument research on environmental awareness, all you have to do is read your newspaper and see what the most quoted environmentalist are saying. This could be a challenge since there are so many environmentalists out there who are different from each other. However, you can do research on the environmentalist, to get an idea about their thought process, and how they communicate with the publ ic.For instance, if they believe in man-made global warming, and they are trying to raise awareness of it, there are so many think tanks, and political leaders out there, who may try to argue against that in their respective party's primaries. You can research those political politicians in your area, in order to find out how effective they've been in raising awareness for man-made global warming.Another one of my favorite topics for argument research is trying to learn why someone thinks something and why they would want to do it. Sometimes this can be easy to find, you may just have to look at history books, to see how the arguments used in various times, had influenced the society and people who were in it. The information you gain from this can be very valuable, as well as help you become a better person, in analyzing human nature.For instance, if I were to find out that someone would start to buy wood for the fire in order to build a house, I might find out the common objection to this. So from there, I can better understand why a person might feel the need to do something like this, or why they might want to do it.These are just some of the good topics for argument research paper. These subjects, if you learn them well, can lead to other topics, and great research papers in your future.
